Mountainwalking, camp craft , and navigation skills

Mountain walking is a many faceted adventure sport combining outdoor exercise with the mental discipline of navigation. For many, pushed into inadequately equipped forays in the rain, it can be a miserable experience. Come to us to learn how to make your mountain walking fun, safe and above all enjoyable.

We can teach you the basics of camp craft so you don’t wind up wearing wet clothes day after day, advise on equipment selection, introduce safe ways to deal with cooking, and increase your awareness of navigation.

For Duke of Edinburgh gold level expeditions we can provide mountain leader cover, and help with expedition planning and hazard assessment. If you are planning a wild country expedition we can help you to sort out the equipment and training issues.
